A real wild-card would be something like a touch strip which could be purposed as pitch/modulation seeing as that's lacking on the LPP. Perhaps they could be done away with or just re-purposed easily. built in, making these buttons slightly redundant in the Launch Control. Obviously the LPPMKIII already has track arm and navigation, mute, solo etc. Novation Launch Control XL MK2 is the larger version of Launch Control and offers a wider range of control options in live sessions thanks to additional. I'd be interested to see what other additions could be made to it to make it fit right alongside the Launchpad Pro MKIII (which I absolutely love). I'm looking to use it more as a general purpose MIDI controller (for VCV Rack and Arturia V Collection synths) rather than an Ableton mixer.
I'd probably like some sort of assignable colour LED under the different knobs (doesn't necessarily have to be a lighting ring) just for keeping track of different things that have been mapped to. Cons - Hard to fault, given the price and versatile functionality. I managed to buy an XL anyway, but would probably buy an MK3 if it came out also. Pros + As portable as you'd hope - you can take it anywhere Typical Novation build and support - it doesn't feel like a toy.
